I hear the pain behind the poetry.

Not just love lost, but the grief of illusion.

The “we” that never became real. The “him” who maybe wasn’t really yours.

You’re not just letting go of a person you’re letting go of a story your heart once believed.

And that line: “the winner takes it all”

it hides a wound.

Not all losses have villains. But all illusions leave scars.

Still, you wrote it beautifully. That matters.

Because turning pain into clarity is the beginning of healing.

Not easy, but true.
