This seems like a very good reminder for all of us. We need to stop chasing after the fake dopamine rush and do the waiting, instead just get up and push ourselves after the tasks which we have always wanted to achieve!!
this is actually what I am doing these past few days! before, I would spend hours scrolling on reels and posts, and had a little time to actually be in the present. ever since my Instagram got suspended, I started to actually chase real dopamine by reading books and writing on my journal. I am so so proud of myself tbh.
This is calling me out. I remember buying things and consuming online media mindlessly because of instant gratification to the point I wasn't contented so I put myself in the loop again. Thinking that the loop and bedrotting could help me. Thank you for helping us traced the pattern of how fake dopamine dooms us. ❤️💫
